Article 1 — Purpose
These Terms of Use ("the Terms") govern use of the site centrezenith.com, published by Centre Zenith (SASU, SIRET 832 566 038 00036), and access to the French-language training it offers: group classes, one-to-one lessons (online or on site), DELF-DALF and DCL exam preparation, the level test, and the issuing of attestations and certificates.
Article 2 — Acceptance
Using the site constitutes full acceptance of these Terms. Enrolling on a course session or submitting any form (level test, quote request, contact) implies that you have read and accepted these Terms and the privacy policy beforehand.
Article 3 — Enrolling on a course
Enrolment is completed online through the pre-registration form for the chosen session, or after a quote has been approved for a one-to-one course. Enrolment is confirmed once payment is received (self-funded) or once the funding application is approved (CPF, France Travail, OPCO, employer).
The student undertakes to provide accurate, up-to-date information. Any false declaration may lead to cancellation of the enrolment without refund.
Article 4 — Prices and payment
Course prices are shown on the site or on the quote issued. They are stated in euros, inclusive of tax. Centre Zenith reserves the right to change its prices at any time, with no retroactive effect on enrolments already confirmed.
Accepted payment methods are:
- Mon Compte Formation (CPF) — via the moncompteformation.gouv.fr platform;
- OPCO or France Travail funding — once the application is approved;
- Employer — on presentation of written agreement;
- Bank transfer — details provided on the invoice.
Payment is due before the first day of the course, unless otherwise agreed in writing (instalments, third-party payer).
Article 5 — Cancellation and refunds
The Foundation Year in French for University is an exception: it has its own specific terms, which prevail over this article for that programme.
Right of withdrawal
Under articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, an individual student has 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without giving a reason and without penalty.
This period does not apply if the course has started with the student's express agreement before the withdrawal period expired; in that case the refund is calculated pro rata for the hours not used.
Cancellation by the student after the course has started
- Withdrawal for personal reasons: hours already taken remain payable. Hours not used are refunded, less any cancellation fee stated on the quote.
- Force majeure (certified serious illness, bereavement, job relocation): suspension or postponement free of charge on presentation of supporting evidence.
Cancellation by Centre Zenith
If Centre Zenith has to cancel a session (minimum number of enrolments not reached, force majeure), the student is offered a transfer to another session or a full refund of the sums paid.
Article 6 — Conduct in class
Students undertake to respect the other participants, the teaching team and the teaching materials. Any discriminatory, abusive or disruptive behaviour may result in a warning, or in exclusion without refund.
Audio or video recording of classes is prohibited without the written permission of the teacher and of all participants. The teaching materials provided remain the property of Centre Zenith and may not be distributed to third parties.
Article 7 — End-of-course attestation
At the end of the course, the student receives an attestation of attendance and of the level reached, in accordance with Qualiopi requirements. This attestation is not a diploma; the official diplomas (DELF, DALF, DCL) are issued separately by France Éducation International or the French Ministry of Education after the exam is passed.
Article 8 — Sitting an exam (DELF, DALF, DCL)
Exam registration is done by the student on the official platforms, or through Centre Zenith when the centre is running a session. Exam fees (stated on the quote or at registration) are payable when registering for the exam and are non-refundable once the application has been sent to the certifying body.
Exam results cannot be guaranteed. Centre Zenith provides the teaching means to prepare candidates, without any obligation as to the outcome.
Article 9 — Liability
Centre Zenith provides the site and its services in a condition consistent with professional standards. The information shown (session dates, prices, course content) is subject to updates; in the event of a discrepancy between the site and a written quote, the quote prevails.
Centre Zenith cannot be held liable for temporary interruptions of the site for maintenance or updates, or for reasons beyond its control (failure of a technical provider, cyber-attack, force majeure).
Article 10 — Intellectual property
The site's content (text, images, trademarks, logos, database) and the teaching materials handed out in class are protected by copyright. Any reproduction, representation or distribution without prior written permission is prohibited and punishable under articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
Article 11 — Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy. The cookies used by the site are covered by a dedicated policy.
Article 12 — Complaints and mediation
Any complaint may be sent to formation@centrezenith.com. If the disagreement persists, a consumer student may, under article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator. A European online dispute resolution platform is also available: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Article 13 — Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute concerning their interpretation or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts for the district of Centre Zenith's registered office.
Article 14 — Changes to the Terms
Centre Zenith reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in force on the date of enrolment. If a substantial change affects an ongoing contract, the student is informed and has a right to object.
